We also exhibit at many local book fairs
where you can examine the books and make your purchase in
person there are around thirty dealers offering a wide selection
of secondhand, out of print and collectable books in a variety
of subjects.

Undated, circa 1958 - Brown ladybird open winged endpapers,
last title listed on rear flap, other Ladybird books listed
on rear endpaper. White boards with brown line illustration
and titles. Lovely blue illustrated dustwrapper is not price
clipped and has the added interest of a pasted on label with
price in US cents. Dustjacket has a few light minor marks
and a tiny closed tear to top edge. Boards are lightly bumped
on tips, contents immaculate, clean & tight, not inscribed.

1974. VG/VG hardback first edition / 1st impression. Sage
green boards with gilt titles and decoration to front and
spine. Page edges green, green endpapers & green silk
marker. The book is in excellent condition, clean, bright
and tight, virtually unread. Lovely colour illustrated Ardizzone
dustjacket with light rubbing to edges (not price clipped),
short closed tear to rear. A lovely copy of a collectable
first edition.
For lovers of the original Nurse Matilda stories and those
who have enjoyed the recent Nanny McPhee movie.

London, England : Blackie. MORE JUMBO STORIES
by Harry Neilson, (undated), circa 1920. Illustrated picture
boards with green cloth spine, rubbed on corners. Back cover
has Blackie's advertisement for 'Shilling Picture-Books'.
Internally very good with normal ageing generally to pages
but no inscriptions or other scribbling, a nice copy.
